Celebrating Innovation at 2025 MInT-ATHON
The 2025 MInT-ATHON brought together brilliant minds from across India under the theme:
💡 “AI for Safe and Sustainable Mobility.”
This year, we witnessed remarkable enthusiasm – with 1,000+ participants and 272 submissions from students, researchers, and startups proposing AI-driven mobility solutions that address real-world challenges across safety, accessibility, sustainability, and efficiency.
After a rigorous evaluation process, we’re excited to announce the 25 shortlisted teams whose ideas stood out for their clarity of execution, feasibility, innovation, and business potential. 🌟
And yes – we did notice a few AI-generated team names sneaking in (some even twice!). A gentle reminder for next time: let’s use AI for solving mobility challenges, not for naming your teams – creativity counts there too!
The review panel had some tough choices to make; many ideas were highly creative and technically strong. The ones that made it through stood out a bit more in clarity of problem definition, real-world implementability, and business potential, but every submission reflected passion and purpose.
The shortlisted teams will now move forward to the further rounds to present at the upcoming MInT Monthly Roundtable, where the final selected projects will receive mentorship, incubation support, and seed funding to develop the prototype under the MInT–IIT Madras ecosystem.
