Our Mission
Our mission is to advance sustainable, safe, and equitable mobility by developing digital public goods that connect every layer of the ecosystem—from data flows and payment systems to vehicle technologies, multimodal transport networks, and digital twin models.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world where mobility systems are smarter, greener, safer, and universally accessible, reducing emissions, saving lives, and accelerating energy efficiency while fostering global collaboration.
Our Values
MInT is more than a name—it’s our promise: Mobility, Innovation, Net-Zero, and Transformation
M – Mobility for All
Creating seamless, inclusive, and accessible transport systems that connect people and goods with ease.
I – Innovation at the Core
Driving next-generation mobility with AI, digital twins, and cutting-edge R&D to build smarter ecosystems.
N – Net-Zero Future
Championing sustainable solutions that cut transport emissions by 50% and accelerate the shift to clean energy.
T – Transformation Together
Uniting governments, industry, NGOs, and academia to co-create holistic digital infrastructure for global mobility
Why Choose MInT
MInT operates on the principle of “collaborate and compete”, bringing together industry competitors, government agencies, NGOs, and leading academic institutions on a common platform. Unlike siloed efforts, this collaborative approach enables:
- Synergy and knowledge-sharing across diverse stakeholders
- Co-creation of the Bharat Multi-Modal Mobility Stack (BM3S) as a digital public good
- Scalable innovations for both national and global mobility ecosystems
- Alignment with long-term sustainability, safety, and equity goals
Our Launch
The inaugural summit, held on 4th and 5th April 2024 at IIT Madras, formally launched the MInT Collaborative. Keynotes were delivered by Dr. Neeraj Mittal (Secretary, DoT), Prof. Chandra Bhat (UT Austin), and Prof. Hari Balakrishnan (MIT).
The summit convened industry leaders, NGOs, and academicians in roundtable discussions on:
- Mobility Challenges and SDGs
- Digital Technologies for Mobility Solutions
It concluded with a joint white paper outlining the roadmap for the collaborative—shaping both short-term strategies and long-term visions for future mobility.
